These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the VitaeMap platform, an online service enabling users to create, manage, and visualize Vitaemaps (life maps) composed of personal and professional events.
Using VitaeMap implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
To access Vitaemap creation features, you must create an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials.
The service is intended for persons able to enter into a contract. If you are a minor, you must have the authorization of your legal representative to use VitaeMap.
VitaeMap offers a free plan as well as paid plans unlocking additional features. The details of the plans, included features, and pricing are presented on the Pricing page.
When a paid subscription ends, content and features reserved for higher plans may become inaccessible or hidden beyond the limits of the free plan. Your content is not deleted merely because a subscription ends.
VitaeMap offers features powered by artificial intelligence, currently mainly CV import, which automatically generates events. Additional AI features are set to be developed for users, particularly premium users.
AI-generated results may contain inaccuracies. It is your responsibility to review and correct them before publishing.
Users can create Vitaemaps by adding events with dates, descriptions, locations, and media. Each event must comply with these Terms.
Vitaemaps can be configured as private, shared, or public. Public Vitaemaps are accessible to all platform visitors.
When you view an event, you can indicate your personal connection to it through different reaction types: "I was there" (participant), "same experience, at another time", "I witnessed it" (witness), or "it affected me" (impacted).
Reacting requires being logged in. A reaction automatically creates a new event in your space, which you can then edit and add to your own Vitaemaps.
Count data and certain anonymized information derived from these reactions may be used to produce collective resonance visualizations, without identifying users.

You retain all rights to the content you create (events, descriptions, images). By publishing public Vitaemaps, you grant VitaeMap a non-exclusive, free license to host, reproduce, and distribute this content for the sole purpose of operating and displaying the service.
The VitaeMap platform, its code, design, and elements are protected by copyright.
VitaeMap strives to ensure the availability and security of the service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. VitaeMap cannot be held responsible for content published by users.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish and its compliance with applicable laws.
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Professional uses of VitaeMap (coaching, recruitment) are subject to specific contractual conditions agreed separately with the organizations concerned. These Terms apply to personal use of the service.
VitaeMap reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes. You can delete your account at any time from the settings.
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
